calculate_polarization(wcc)[source]#

Routine to compute the polarization from the WCC. Note that it requires computing the WCCs in the whole BZ, and not half BZ (which is the default calculation). Useful for Chern insulators. TODO: Has to be fixed.

Parameters:

wcc (ndarray) – Array with the WCCs for all paths.

Return type:

float

Returns:

Polarization.
